BMP Screens

All tasks available in BMP can be handled easily via Screens – panels.

Screens overview

Following screens ( tasks ) are available:

Welcome screen ( Main menu )
Preferences screen
User management screen
Music Control Screen
Ballroom Radio Catalog Screen

Welcome Screen

The Player Main menu is represented by Welcome Screen. . All other screens ( tasks ) can be accessed by using push buttons as follows:

– “Manage Users” button to access User Management Screen.
– “Edit Preferences” button to access Preferences Screen.
– “Manage My Library” button to access Ballroom Radio Catalog Screen
– “Play Music” button to access Music Control screen
– “Exit Player” button to exit Ballroom Music Player ( BMP ).
– “Help” button” (on the very top of the Welcome Panel ) to access online help.
– “Exit Panel” button ( disabled in Welcome Screen ).

Music Control Screen

If you choose to play music, just click on “PlayMusic” button and you will arrive at Player Control Screen.
Here you can select from 4 Options ( Tabbed pane ).
a/”Play dances”
b/, “play lists”,
c/ “play from HDD”,
d/ “play from CD” .

a/
By default the “Play dances” music panel is selected.
from here you can stream music over Internet directly from BallroomLibrary.com.
You just need to select the dance and style.
Each time after you select style 10 dances are added to queue.
They are looping until you change the queue.

b/ play lists
To play from lists, you must first add the user whose lists are going to be played. Click on add user. Type user’s id ( email) . The user must be registered user at BalroomLibrary.com. ( Registration is free ). Then this user must have selected favorite songs from ballroom Library selection and create lists from them.( Can be done at Ballroomibrary.com ) Then you will able to play those lists in
BallroomStudioPlayer .You can add multipple users, so they can share the music.

c/play from HDD
If you wish to play songs from your hard drive, then just click on play from HDD pane. Click on “Find Other song” . After while the file selector opens
and you just select song to play.
